It looks like a nightmare as it happens. Your PC crashes, and you have lost everything! Is there anything that you are able to do to get back your essential files?

Well, if you have arranged for yourself to have an online backup then you might have a very good chance of getting back a lot, if not everything that you had lost.

Online Backup is actually a service that a specific company will offer you where they back up all of your work and files on another driver. This type of system will usually back up your system on a certain timetable that you and the company agree upon.

Perhaps the most popular timetable is to have your system backed up once every twenty-four hours. At this point, the program will go through your files and save all of the adjustments that you have made to its own external server. That way your files are protected should anything happen to your network.

You will typically need to sign some sort of service contract that you sign with the online backup provider. This will lock you in to a specific period of service that they will cover your computer system.
