A good gaming system will have four main components: Processor, Memory, Video card, and the all important Cooling system.

Processor: One of the most important components in your gaming system is the processor. Inside the processor are the brains of the operation, these brains are called the "Core". You've heard the old saying, two heads are better than one. When looking at any gaming system, make sure the processor is at least a dual core, but try to find low cost quad cores. If possible, look for systems with multiple processors with dual or quad cores.

Memory: Another key component to your gaming computer. Too little memory and your computer games will not work properly. The normal computer has 2GB of memory. You will want at least 4GB, if you want your games to keep up with you.

Video Card: Alright this is not where you skimp on cost. You will want a great video card for your computer. If for some reason you skimp out on this, don't expect to be the leader in any of your games. In fact, you might want to get use to seeing your screen player doing good one minute and being attacked the next. Your video card will be to slow to let you see in real time. If you want to get into gaming make sure you have an updated video card, 512MB or better should do the trick.

Cooling System: Alright, you did great on everything else, now it is time for you to think about the cooling system. Make sure your computer has a good cooling system. Don't just take someone's word for it. Make sure it has one that will take a beating from grueling hours of game play. Spend time looking into the different cooling systems. If you don't, you may find your computer crashing at a crucial moment of your game.

Isn't it more important to have a gaming system you can play and count on? Or continue to save your money and have your eye on a system that is outdated when you're ready to buy.
